When purchasing this gift package, you will receive one transferrable voucher for a LITTLE SHREDDERS lesson– A 2HR GROUP SKIING or Snowboarding LESSON FOR AGES 5 – 7

A program just for the little shredders! This 2-hour group lesson will have your kid’s learning the basics. They will also have a chance to warm up and have hot cocoa. Afterwards they’ll participate in some fun activities with an emphasis on snowsports safety. The lesson will finish off outside where they will continue to learn the 1st steps of skiing or snowboarding.

Overview

PACKAGE PRICE INCLUDES:

All day Lift Ticket, Ski or Snowboard Rental & Lesson

LESSON STRUCTURE:

Round kids up and help them get their boots on
Do indoor exercises to work on creating a wedge and balance with boots on
Move kids outside and start walking them around with single skis on
Walk them around some obstacles with both skis on
Talk about safety and importance of being in control
Start working on straight runs with a flat run out
Work on the wedge stance and correct body position
Have the kids go down a gentle slope in a snowplow/wedge
Warm up Break
Get kids back out and work on their snowplow/wedge
Introduce turns using obstacles

Note: Lesson structure can change based on the group makeup and is up to the discretion of the instructor leading the session.

Our instructors can tailor their teaching to the student’s needs. We’re all about having fun at Mt. Crescent and we’ll make sure your kids are having a blast!
