WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THE SKI STATIONS:
STATION 1
- Putting skis on and off
- Falling and getting up
- Moving around on skis
- Slow straight run
STATION 2
- Introduction to the Snowplow
- Going down a gentle slope in a Snowplow
- Adjusting speed by increasing/decreasing the Snowplow angle
- Stop using the Snowplow
STATION 3
- Introduction to turns
- Steering the Snowplow to change direction, adjusting weight and body position to create a turn
- Attempt to make S shapes down the the gentle slope
- Instructor closing statements and brief instructions on use of the lift
NEED TO KNOW…
*Reservations are required. (Can call to check for availability.)
*Prepayment is required by credit card. Prepaid reservations are nonrefundable.
*Lessons start promptly at their scheduled time so please arrive at a minimum, an hour early. You will need to obtain your lesson ticket, get needed lift tickets, and get fitted with equipment. Lines can sometimes be long. (No refunds if you are late for your lesson)
*Upon arrival, check in at the ticket counter. You will obtain your lesson ticket and any needed rental and/or lift tickets. (MAKE SURE YOU RESERVE RENTALS IF YOUR LESSON DOES NOT PROVIDE THEM!)
*Dress appropriately for winter activity.
*Unless specified, lessons do not include a lift ticket or rental equipment. You will need to purchase these online.
*No refunds. If Mt. Crescent closes due to weather, we will reschedule.
